Firehouse Tavern in Chicago is shutting down as part of a strategic move to boost profits and reduce costs.

Formerly known as the Firehouse on Michigan Avenue in Chicago, the Fire House Tavern was located in the Windy City for nearly 30 years.

It was also the location of the first restaurant in Chicago to be a “bistro,” a restaurant with a menu of local food.

It reopened in 2012 after several years of remodeling and has since grown to a full-service restaurant, catering to a wide range of cuisines.

The new Fire House will now be called the Chocolatier.
