Sam’s Pub has been open for more than 100 years.
Its owners, a family who run a catering business, said the tavern has become a family destination, catering to all ages and tastes.
Sam’s is known for its steak, chicken and seafood dishes.
It also has a long list of restaurants.
In a recent interview, the restaurant’s owner, Sam, said he and his wife, Carol, are raising their daughter, Alyssa, as his sole caregiver.
Sam and Carol said they had been planning to open their restaurant for more years, but they found that the recession had slowed down the pace of their plans.
“The last two years have been challenging,” Sam said.
“We’ve lost a lot of jobs.
We’re trying to put together the finances and the food budget for Alyssan.
We have to do what we can to keep up with her growth and her needs.
But we’re trying.”
Sam said he wants to open the restaurant to the public and have it be a family-friendly restaurant.
“I don’t want it to be a place where a kid can go in and have fun.
It’s a place for everybody to come and enjoy themselves,” Sam explained.
Sam said they’re planning to use the proceeds from the new Sam’s tavern to pay down their bills.
“When we open it, we will have a $15 million budget,” Sam revealed.
Sam added that he and Carol would like to expand their restaurant to include other types of dining, including a cocktail bar.
“It’s going to be the most popular restaurant in the city of Syracuse,” he said.
The restaurant’s menu, which is expected to include more than 50 different dishes, includes the popular Sam’s Chicken Breast.
Sam also plans to add a salad bar and a seafood bar, which he said he would start adding in the coming months.
“There are many people who have tried the Sam’s chicken breast and thought, ‘This is too salty and not flavorful enough,'” Sam said of the restaurant.
Sam has also opened Sam’s Bistro, which will serve traditional Italian fare and more than 20 different types of Italian cheeses.
Sam plans to open Sam’s Wine Bar in late 2017.
“Our goal is to open a restaurant that is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and we have been doing that for the past 10 years,” Sam added.
Sam hopes to open two new Sams locations in the next two to three years.
He said the company will also open a new Sam Sams restaurant in Syracuse’s suburbs, with a name that will not be associated with the Sams name.
“People are starting to know Sam’s,” Sam joked.
“They are beginning to think about the Sam,” Sam noted.
The company is also planning to expand Sam’s in the greater Syracuse area, including its original location in the town of Syracuse.
The expansion of Sam’s could help the company’s financial health, Sam said, and he hopes to continue to operate the restaurant for the next 10 years.
Sam is also expanding his catering business.
“Sam’s is doing a great job with the catering business,” Sam continued.
“Every year we have a different product and different food, so it’s really important for us to stay on top of our business.”
Alyssana will also continue to work at Sams Tavern, Sam added, “and she is very passionate about Sam’s.”
Sam and Alyssas daughter, a sophomore at Samssons school, Alysa, will be able to spend more time at Sam and the Samsson Pub.
Alyssasia will attend Sams University this fall, and Sam and his family are currently in the process of getting her enrolled in school, he said, adding that he expects Alyssadys graduation to be early next year.
Sams Pub’s menu is expected by mid-March, and the restaurant is expected open by May, Sam explained, noting that the restaurant has opened on a weekday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on a Sunday from 11 a.
